You are invited to join the UULM Healthcare Steering Committee, UU clergy, congregants, and Health Access network in meeting with CA legislators Aug 24 &25 At the Capitol Building regarding these health reform bills presently before the State Assembly:

SB 810 (Leno) CA Single-payer Health Care Coverage
SB 890 (Alquist/Steinberg) Transitioning To A More Transparent & Standardized Market
SB 1163 (Leno) Sunshine on Price Gouging
AB 1600 (Beall) Mental Health Parity
AB 2578 (Jones & Feuer) Insurance Rate Hike Governance
We need to get their yes vote on these bills to implement the national reform, upgrade it, and include consumer protections from rate increases. For more info: www.uulmcaaction.org
