The UU Legislative Ministry wants to know what the members
of our California congregations care about and are interested in working
on together. The Listening Campaign is one strategy to uncover passionate
concern, identify leadership, and build relationships.
Through one-on-one conversations, we can find out what
is most important to congregants, looking for what is exciting, what holds
the greatest meaning in their lives, and where it is that they come alive.
This intensive process has proven to be vital and nourishing
to the individuals who participate and to the church community as a whole
in its efforts to focus its justice work in ways that hold meaning for
the congregation.
