California Unitarian Universalists Stand on the Side of Love

3,800 marriage-equality valentines were hand-delivered to the Governor's office, from Unitarian Universalists across the state.

UU Legislative Ministry leaders join leaders from the ACLU, NOW and Equality California to provide a voice in support of ending marriage discrimination. As people passed by, most gave us the thumbs up, and were relieved to have an alternative presence to the anti-marriage equality rally that was taking place on the north steps of the Capitol.

 

 

 

The First Unitarian Universalist Church of San Diego supports the freedom to marry during their Valentine-Message signing party.

 

Members of Throop Memorial Church in Pasadena, creating heart-felt messages in support of marriage equality, to send to the Governor.

 

Members of the UU Fellowship of Redwood City send messages supporting marriage equality to the Governor.

 

 

 

Members of the Unitarian Universalist Society of Sacramento send 120 valentines supporting the freedom to marry.

        

San Francisco Unitarian Universalists make Marriage Equality Valentines.

 

 

 

 

 

Counting, packing, and delivering 3,500 Valentines, Standing on the Side of Love! (300 more came the next day.)
